Choclate Desserts

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (40g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (90g) chocolate chips or chunks (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9-inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a saucepan or microwave. Stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Mix until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips or chunks if using.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
  6. Allow the brownies to cool before cutting into squares.
